Fourth OMCC Newsletter

Easter that sends us on mission: a living Movement for a new world

In this time of Easter, when the Church celebrates the life that conquers and breaks forth, the Organismo Mundial de Cursillos de Cristiandad presents its fourth newsletter as a sign of hope and renewal for the entire Movement.

This issue is marked by the power of the Risen Christ who continues to send us to proclaim what is fundamental to being Christian wherever we are. From this Easter perspective, the newsletter reflects the living pulse of the Cursillo Movement throughout the world, with particular attention to the recent OMCC gathering in Africa, specifically in South Africa, where significant steps have been taken to promote, support, and sow the Movement on a continent full of life and promise.

The newsletter also offers in-depth articles that help deepen the charism and mission of the Cursillo Movement today, shedding light on current challenges with a faithful and creative outlook. In a special way, it highlights the role of young people, reminding us that the Movement will only be truly faithful if it knows how to inspire, welcome, and walk alongside new generations.

It also joyfully shares the journey the Church is undertaking in the beatification processes of Eduardo Bonnín Aguiló and Sebastián Gayá Riera, whose lives and witness continue to be a light and inspiration for living the Gospel authentically in the world.

This fourth newsletter is not merely a collection of news, but a call to renew enthusiasm, strengthen communion, and rekindle missionary commitment. For the Cursillo Movement, sustained by grace, remains today a providential instrument to bring people to a personal encounter with Christ.

May the joy of Easter impel us to continue walking together, as simple, close, and courageous witnesses in our environments.
