The World Organization of Cursillos in Christianity (OMCC) begins its activities at the annual ordinary statutory meeting, which is this year being held in Palma de Mallorca, ES.
This meeting took place in Rome the previous year (2023), when we had the opportunity to participate in an audience with Pope Francis. From that moment, an intense dynamic of virtual work began. We have held multiple meetings via Zoom, which have allowed us to grow in friendship, constitute ourselves as an operative group, and advance in the projects of the OMCC at the service of the Cursillo Movement around the world.
Now, with great joy, we have the opportunity to meet again in person all the members of the OMCC, to continue growing and working for our Movement.
We started the meeting with a Eucharistic celebration presided by the OMCC World Advisor, Monsignor José Angel Saiz Menezes, in the magnificent gothic cathedral of Palma de Mallorca, indeed a symbolic place in the birth of the MCC.
For three days we will advance the agenda of the meeting, which this year includes, among other things, the organization of the World Ultreya of the CCM in Rome, in June 2025, in the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, within the framework of the Jubilee of Ecclesial Movements and Associations.
We count on the prayers and the “palancas” of all the Cursillista family of the world for the greatest fruit of this meeting.
